D.S.R.C. 2024

Annette Breedlove is the creator of the newly formed Divine Sisters Reading Club. For over 25 years, Annette was a member of several book clubs demonstrating her love of reading books. Annette has held several important positions during her tenure in the book clubs until she relocated and retired to another state. She became a part of a book club in her new home state and remained a member in good standing for over 3 years.

 

Annette is as passionate about travel as she is about books.  She has been blessed to meet new people and make friends from all different walks of life during her travels. One of Annette’s hidden talents is her ability to plan and organize events that are posh, upscale and elegant. While Annette is a God-fearing Woman of God, she allows His voice to speak to her and through her to lead, guide and direct her path. For her, God is first and foremost in her life.

 

Having said that, she had a vision to combine her passions for all the above and form a book club, that will include traveling for its members, exclusive events and invitations to people to join from all over the United States. A survey were sent out to a few ladies which was overwhelming with positive responses prompting a Zoom meeting that was held December 4, 2021. Six Divine Sisters was birthed from this inaugural meeting. We are starting  2024 with fourteen Members we are blooming the way God see fit.

Be more than a reading club, to be a book club that nourishes our souls and edify each one of our individual purposes, all the while strengthening the Divine Sisters Reading Club purpose which is to travel, reach across various communities, states within the USA.

 

Our first meeting was held on January 22, 2022, via Zoom. We are open to new members joining and if you are interested, please click the JOIN US link below and someone will respond within 24 hours. The Zoom information for the meeting will be emailed or texted in advance.

Divine Sisters had our first Retreat it was a 6 day Cruise in October 2023. We truly enjoyed getting to meet everyone face to face it was eleven of us attended. It was so good to get to bond with the DSRC.

We meet the 4th Saturday of the month at 3:00 P.M., via ZOOM.  The host choose the book selection and host the meeting . We pay $5 Monthly dues and a $2 Fee if you don't read the book.  Also we celebrate each member birthday with a little token of LOVE from the book club.
